Perth

Perth – Australia’s sunniest capital city lies in the nation’s largest state, Western Australia.

A landscape of dramatically differing scenery, flora and fauna, Western Australia has been billions of years in the making, and now it is time for you to discover every corner of the vast state.  Before you embark on an unforgettable journey on-board the Super Yacht Paradise, acquaint yourself with the cruisy, forever sunny city that is Perth.

Perth is world famous for blindingly white sandy beaches and turquoise water, so the first port of call should be the iconic Cottesloe Beach.  Dine at the landmark Indiana, swim in the calm waters and soak up the bright sunshine.  Another popular beach that needs to be on the to-do list is Scarborough.

Pack a picnic full of Margaret River wine and cheese and head to Kings Park, the green heart of Perth and one of the world’s largest inner city parks.  The 4.06 square kilometre park boasts a stunning panorama over the city and Swan River, and includes parkland, botanical gardens and natural bushland.  The sheer size of the park demands a full day to appreciate all that it has to offer, and you can finish off the day on a high note at the fine dining restaurant set to the spectacular backdrop of the illuminated Perth city.

Hillarys Boat Harbour is Perth’s premier recreational destination. A marina and tourist precinct located to the north of the city, Hillarys is home to the Aquarium of Western Australia, where you can familiarise yourself with the creatures of the deep that you will no doubt encounter when sailing the waters aboard the Super Yacht Paradise.  Stroll along the boardwalk beside the many boats moored, and take your pick from a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes that line the marina.

Venture south to the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, adjacent to the coastal town of Rockingham.  Covering 6658 hectares of beautiful clear waters, the marine park contains a rich diversity and abundance of both marine and terrestrial wildlife. Encompassing a chain of limestone rocks and islands, a must-see is Penguin Island, an important breeding ground for the aquatic birds.  The marine playground also allows you to swim with wild dolphins, see Australian sea lions in their natural habitat and snorkel in the calm waters.

The historic port town of Fremantle is where the Super Yacht Paradise sets sail from, so be sure to set aside time for this charming part of Perth.  Fremantle is renowned for its well-preserved architectural heritage, bustling arts and music scene, and abundance of fabulous eateries with a strong emphasis on local seafood.  Make sure a night-time tour of the Fremantle Prison is on your itinerary, which is Western Australia’s only world heritage listed building.

Perth will provide you with the perfect relaxed start to your Western Australian adventure before you depart on your luxury private yacht charter aboard the Super Yacht Paradise.
